Treatment of Paget’s disease:

Generic Fosamax (Alendronate Sodium) is also used to treat the Paget’s disease in both men and women. Those patients who have alkaline phosphatase at least two times up than the normal, are recommended by doctors to use this medicine. 

 

You can take this medicine once a day. The medicine can be taken in early morning before you take your first meal or beverage. You can take this tablet with one glass of water. It is recommended to take one tablet of Fosamax daily. The tablet should be taken at least one hour before your first meal of the day. The initial dosage which is recommended by the doctors is 70mg.
