Generic Vastarel (Trimetazidine)

The generic name of vastarel MR is trimetazidine. This type of medicine used to treat chest pains that come as a result of coronary diseases. The tablet is film-coated and is packed in a box containing 20 tablets. 

 

Vastarel should be used as directed by a physician. Dosage may vary from patient to patient depending on the extent of the disease on the body and will be treated as per case. The standard amount administered to patients is 35Mg. Children who are below the age of 18 years should not be given the drug.

 

It is intended for adult patients only to cure angina pectoris. It is combined with other recommended drugs for effective results. The rare effects of Vastarel are palpitations, low blood pressure and decrease in the number of white blood cells in the body.
