Generic Vermox (Mebendazole)

The active ingredient of the drug is mebendazole useful in curbing the spread of worms in the human body.  The medicine crushes the worms and prevents them from causing infections that make your system weak and lead to diseases. Worms that are destroyed include pinworms, roundworms, hookworms and many others. Additionally, the drug also stops the worms from reproducing and later spreading to other parts of the body.

 

This medication is taken orally before or after meals as prescribed by a doctor, usually once daily. Always ensure that the doctor’s prescription is followed completely. Labeling the drugs clearly will prevent confusion of the drug. Skipping dates or taking the drug partially may lessen your chances of recovery if not increasing the spread of the disease further.

The extremely dangerous effects associated with using Vermox are the allergic reactions experienced. This causes hives, swollen throat, face, lips and mouth. 

 

Upon missing a dose, take it as soon as you can and if the time for the next dose is near, continue taking the dose as normal.

• Liver problems

• Breathing difficulties

• Diabetes  

• Blood circulation problems
