Tetracycline is a type of medication used to treat bacterial infections. This medicine is combined with anti-ulcers drugs to heal stomach ulcers. You can treat acne using Tetracycline. This medication works by reducing the growth of bacteria in the body. It is therefore not effective in curbing viral infections such as flu.
Dosage
Take Tetracycline as prescribed by your doctor. Normally it is taken without food, between one or two hours before meals. Supplement each dose with a glass full of water.
