Generic Trimox (Amoxicillin)

Trimox, which is also known as amoxicillin is an antibiotic that contains penicillin, used to fight bacteria in the human body. A variety of infections that are formed as a result of bacteria are cured by the drug. Such bacteria include pneumonia, tonsillitis, gonorrhea, bronchitis as well as ear, nose, skin and nose infections among others.

Precautions:

Avoid Trimox if you are allergic to penicillin antibiotics as well as cephalosporin to prevent complications. Inform your specialist earlier in advance if you are using birth control pills. The reason for this is because amoxicillin prevents birth control pills from working. The drug can be transmitted to the breast milk and therefore it is important to notify your doctor if you are breast feeding. The doctor will advice you on the way forward.
