Generic Solian (Amisulpride)

Solian is a type of medication that is used to treat schizophrenia. This medicine belongs to the antipsychotics class of drugs. Solian has an active ingredient  known as Amisulpride. It works by altering how natural chemicals in your brain work. Schizophrenia is a medical condition where you develop hallucinations and severe emotional side effects. Patients who suffer from this condition tend to be depressed and tense. 

 

Take Solian as directed by your doctor. Follow instructions provided on the Medication Label carefully. You dose is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. It is for this reason that your dose may vary from someone'. You doctor may increase your medication if he or she deems it fit. Solian tablets are taken once or twice a day. The solution can be taken twice a day. Using a measuring syringe, draw the nozzle of the measuring syringe until it touches the graduation mark. This way, you will obtain  the correct dose of Solian. 

 

When taking Solian tablets, ensure you swallow them with a glass full of water. The same cannot be said for Solian solution which can be mixed with water before consumption. You should this medication after taking meals. Take the dose the same time each day. Continue to use this drug until the dose is done. Do not stop taking Solian tablets just because you feel well. 

 

Inform your doctor if you envision these side effects: nausea, vomiting, fever, anxiety, insomnia, dry mouth, muscle cramps, constipation, weight gain, increased appetite, rapid weight gain, dizziness, slurred speech, increased breathing, change in monthly periods sequence, breast pain, sweating and muscle stiffness. 

 

Tell your doctor if you have the following conditions before you start to take Solian. Inform him or her if:

• You are allergic to Solian

• You have heart problems

• You are pregnant or you intend to 

• You have kidney disease

• You suffer from seizures

• You have mental illness
