Generic Stromectol (Ivermectin)

Ivermectin is used to treat roundworm infections. This medication belongs to the antihelmintics class of drugs. Preventing parasitic infections is very important especially among persons with a weak immune system. This drug works by killing parasites. You can also use this medication to treat scabies and lice. Ivermectin is effective in curing other conditions not listed here. Remember to consult your doctor before you start using this drug. 

 

Take this drug as prescribed by your doctor. Make sure you read the Prescription Leaflet carefully before you use this drug. Any questions and concerns you may have should be directed to your doctor or Pharmacist. Ivermectin is taken by mouth with a glass full of water. This should be done an hour before taking a meal. The dose is administered based on your medical condition, weight and response to therapy. This medicine is taken once daily. 

 

When using this medication, store it in a cool, dry place. Also, keep it away from children. 

 

Your doctor has prescribed this drug after assessing that the benefits outweigh the risks. Therefore if you experience any side effects, contact him or her for help. Some of the most common side effects of using Ivermectin are: nausea, seizures, chest pain, swelling of the arms and legs, neck pain, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, itching, rash, blurred vision, joint pain, unusual weakness, fever and swelling. If you feel dizzy stand up slowly  when rising from your lying or sitting position. This is not a complete list of the side effects. Call your doctor if you notice some weird changes when using this medication.
